CONTINENTALE NUTRITION - Palletizing of pet-foods in France

TMI (Técnicas Mecánicas Ilerdenses), following its policy of continuous evolution and adaptation to the needs of each industry, has recently set in motion a box-palletising line for the CONTINENTALE NUTRITION company, one of Europe’s largest pet food producers, located in Wimille (France).

The line is notable for its great versatility, palletising boxes with lids or boxes without lids for direct display at points of sale, and shrink-wrapped bales. The diversity of packagings to be palletised required specific handling for each one of them, and consequently TMI has developed handling devices adapted to the demands of each product.

To respond to the high demands of the foodstuffs and large-scale distribution sectors, TMI offers solutions such as palletising on all types of pallets, half-pallets, moving carts, film and cardboard feeders on the pallet base, overturning devices for sacks and boxes, ATEX certifications, hangers for empty boxes in chains, foodstuff packagings and development of all types of specific elements.
