Palletizing of wheat flour by means of industrial 4-axes robot mod. ROBOT P4

TMI has recently supplied a fully automatic palletizing station for wheat flour bags by means of an anthropomorphic 4-axes robot mod. ROBOT P4 to COMERÇ I INDÚSTRIES ALBAREDA, which mill is located in Manresa, Barcelona (Spain).

Robot solution has been chosen because of the reduced available space and difficulty to take the bags from a second floor. Once filled, bags fall down through a toboggan to the existing truck loading belt, placed at first floor.

TMI has supplied a pneumatically driven tilting belt that takes the bags from the toboggan and delivers them by rollers curve to a bag flattener and later robot picking station.

Robot is equipped with a multi-function gripper for valve bags and pallets handling. It takes every valve bag at picking station and bring it onto the pallet, which is placed on a roller conveyor for its later removing.

Installation is designed to reach an output capacity of 10 Tn/h.
