2 COMPLETE TMI SEED PALLETIZING AND WRAPPING LINES IN POLAND
TMI has, together with ALIMA-PACK, our exclusive representatives in Poland, just started up two complete palletizing and wrapping lines for two Polish plants of the company HR SMOLICE, a producer of maize seeds.Each line is made up of the following equipment:
- A ROBOSAC 800 hybrid palletizer, with a motorized grip and side and top shaping of each layer. Thanks to the robotized bag handling system, the bags are placed very accurately on the layering platform, allowing them to be overlapped. Then, before the squaring of the four sides, the complete layers are transferred to the pallet being formed. The bags reach the palletizer and are raised vertically after having previously been shaped and centred.
- An automatic system for placing cardboard sheets on the empty pallet.
- A ILERGIR turntable stretch wrapper, with completely independent column and turntable, electronically-adjustable pre-stretching of up to 300% and an end-of-reel film quick guide system.
Each of these lines is currently working at a production rate of around 500 bags per hour, although the equipment has the potential for up to 800 bags per hour, depending upon the format.
