ESPORC - Palletizing of cattle feed

We have supplied an automatic palletiser of open-mouth sacks to the ESPORC factory located in Riudarenes (Girona), which forms part of the production process of Piensos Baucells, Cárnicas Batallé and Casa Tarradellas.

The Esporc plant is Europe’s largest factory specialising in the production of special feeds for very young pigs.

TMI’s supply includes an ILERPAL automatic top-loading palletiser that handles open-mouth paper sacks originating from an automatic bag-making machine. It includes various palletising programmes that enable the machine to be adjusted by way of a touch screen in a matter of seconds.

The ILERPAL palletiser has the following notable advantages:

-         Sack-turning system by means of a grille, which does not require any type of adjustment to the change of sack format.

-         Motorised side shaping end-stops, which press each layer on all four sides, ensuring that the stack of sacks rises in optimal conditions of stability and verticality.

-         Double floating false pallet under which each layer is pressed.

-         Counterweighted pallet elevation platform, allowing maximum optimisation of electrical consumption and, especially, elimination of mechanical fatigue.

-         All the activations are controlled by frequency inverters to avoid abrupt stops and starts, allowing for smoother movements and therefore longer life of the machine and its components.
